Sweet and Savory High Protein Toast
Breakfast toast minus the avocado! Try this toast loaded with nutrients like fiber, calcium and protein for breakfast or a mid-day snack to fuel your day. Tag or give me a shout-out @amanda_marnon on instagram with your creation!
Ingredients
2 slices multigrain bread
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 peach; sliced
1 tsp Hemp Hearts (optional)
Cinnamon
Honey (optional)
Method
Toast your bread to your desired crispiness
Spread the cottage cheese over the entire piece of toast
Slice your peach into slivers (feel free to use any other desired fruit)
Sprinkle hemp hearts (or another seed)and cinnamon
Add any other toppings like honey or nut butter; enjoy!
