Sweet and Savory High Protein Toast

Breakfast toast minus the avocado! Try this toast loaded with nutrients like fiber, calcium and protein for breakfast or a mid-day snack to fuel your day. Tag or give me a shout-out @amanda_marnon on instagram with your creation!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices multigrain bread

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

  • 1 peach; sliced

  • 1 tsp Hemp Hearts (optional)

  • Cinnamon

  • Honey (optional)


Method

  • Toast your bread to your desired crispiness

  • Spread the cottage cheese over the entire piece of toast

  • Slice your peach into slivers (feel free to use any other desired fruit)

  • Sprinkle hemp hearts (or another seed)and cinnamon

  • Add any other toppings like honey or nut butter; enjoy!
